Our Story
Originally founded in 1881 by Simon Mayer, Mayer’s Garden was the place to be in Dallas. It featured an open-air area for friends and families to hang out and listen to live music every night of the week, a zoo with lions and tigers, and a lively saloon. No matter who you were, you were welcome at Mayer’s Garden. People from all over town would come to enjoy the great food, flowing beverages and endless entertainment for all ages.
Today’s Mayer’s Garden is an ode to the original watering hole. A spot you can always count on to have a good time while surrounded by good people. It’s your neighborhood bar and restaurant where you can catch your favorite game, brunch with the girls, grab a delicious dinner after work, and dance the weekend away.

We love your fur babies! Our patio is very dog friendly and our servers will be sure to provide them with fresh water! But please keep your pups on the patio, they will not be allowed in the indoor dining room.
